For more than 17 years, Marlene Aquino has been a trailblazing leader at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she has tackled both her clients' and the firm's unique challenges with ground-breaking solutions.
Today, Marlene is Booz Allen Hamilton's first-ever Chief Diversity Officer. In this role, Marlene is responsible for establishing and integrating the firm's audacious D&I goals while aligning them with current firm initiatives and relevant external sponsorships.
Before stepping into this role, Marlene was the Vice President of Talent Marketplace & Experience, where she led multiple internal talent strategy initiatives to enhance the employee experience. Most notably, while Marlene was in this role, she was the executive sponsor and lead for the firm's first-of-its-kind internal mobility model, called the Accelerator.
Before taking on these internal strategy roles, Marlene led many business teams to drive large-scale, transformational change for her external clients. Key among those client initiatives include the Affordable Care Act, digital services transformations, fraud detection strategy and program implementation, and cyber breach mitigation and response.
Marlene holds a master's degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary and a bachelor of arts in biology from Johns Hopkins University.
