Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) career opportunities are growing rapidly. The 31st BEYA STEM Global Competitiveness Conference brings professionals and students from a wide variety of STEM-related fields together to share their experiences and information. The goal of the conference is to create connections between students, educators, and STEM professionals while facilitating partnerships with individuals and their local STEM resources.
The 2017 Black Engineer of the Year Award will be presented to veteran educator and engineering icon Dr. Eugene M. DeLoatch. In addition to this award, more than 100 scientists and engineers will receive category awards and special recognition honors.
