Colleagues,

Welcome to 2022! As the new year begins, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Over the past 12 months, a very difficult year by any measure, you have navigated the ebbs and flows of this pandemic with patience, strength, and grace. From our hopeful plans to reopen offices, to continued delays, to evolving policies and precautions, I am grateful for the way you have maintained your focus, your passion, and your commitment to our clients and to each other.

With all this in mind, I am in awe of the incredible things you accomplished over the past year. You accepted new missions, pushed the limits of technological innovation, and delivered world-changing solutions to our clients. You also made a difference in your communities by giving back and took steps to build a more equitable future for all. Because of you and your efforts, Booz Allen is stronger than ever.

We are a firm that looks at a challenging world and always—always—finds a way. That’s why I remain incredibly optimistic about a bright future for Booz Allen. In 2022, we will take steps into our next era through VoLT – Velocity, Leadership, and Technology. We will become a firm that moves faster, transforms with conviction, and increasingly wins through differentiation.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll have the chance to learn much more about our VoLT strategy. We’ll begin by embracing the change needed to fuel our velocity.
