At Booz Allen, we speak military: Our founder was a veteran. A third of our work force served in the armed forces. We’re consistently named one of the nation’s best employers of veterans. And we partner with the U.S. military on everything from mental health support to Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems to organizational transformation.
When veteran Jenny Moose left the Air Force, she was a great fit for us on, ironically, our Air Force account. Booz Allen welcomed her experience and integrity, while Jenny welcomed ours.
Today, Jenny leads a team at the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, handling requirements, scheduling, risk, and testing. “I do something different every day—there’s no repetition. There are so many opportunities to do interesting work with the government. And so many opportunities to grow and own your career.”
One of those opportunities is a new contract in capability development. “We’ll be looking at emerging technologies to see how they can fix existing gaps in capabilities. It’s an exciting area. You get to see what’s out there and determine how we can improve the whole enterprise with brand-new ideas that are still being developed at universities and research labs.”
Finding applications for those ideas is only one way we help the Air Force accomplish their mission. “Ultimately, our goal is to help the warfighter. That mission is so important.” Jenny should know—she’s seen it from every angle.
