The point of contact listed on the application will receive confirmation of receipt and notification of a decision via e-mail.
Registered users may check an application’s status at any point. It will be marked as “awaiting review,” “under review,” and then “approved” or “not approved.” Please allow up to 60 days for a decision.

Booz Allen will consider volunteer opportunity requests from nonprofit organizations that are recognized by the IRS, or accredited elementary or secondary schools. Approval or denial of your request will be sent via e-mail.
A skills-based volunteer is an individual who voluntarily offers his/her specialized skills to strengthen the infrastructure of a nonprofit helping to sustain and build the organization’s capacity to successfully achieve their mission. (E.g. strategic planning, Website development, graphic design)
Yes. Eligible nonprofits who meet the guidelines for support and acknowledge the firm’s skills-based volunteer waiver, part of the request for volunteers form, may request volunteer support at boozallencares.com. Approval or denial of your request will be sent via email.
Yes, Eligible nonprofits submitting requests for skill-based volunteers will be required to acknowledge a skills-based volunteer waiver.
The firm’s skills-based volunteer waiver states that all services to a nonprofit, requesting support via boozallencares.com, are provided on an individual basis and not on behalf of or in conjunction with Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc..
Submission of a skills-based volunteer opportunity for consideration does not guarantee inclusion in firm employee resources or staff engagement. All skills-based volunteer opportunity submissions are reviewed in accordance with firm guidelines.
Nonprofits contacted by firm employees who are interested in providing their specialized skills to support an approved project, posted via BoozAllenCares.com, may not request examples of firm resources applicable to the organization’s needs, directly invite Booz Allen employees to participate in a skills-based volunteer opportunity without approval via boozallencares.com, acknowledge the firm through use of Booz Allen Hamilton’s name or logo or implicate the firm as liable for the actions of an individual or team of volunteers.
To engage firm volunteers in a skills-based volunteer project, an eligible nonprofit must submit a request via boozallencares.com. Approval or denial of the request will be sent via email.
Booz Allen’s role in facilitating the opportunity can be acknowledged, but not the work performed. With the individual’s consent, the nonprofit can recognize the volunteers for their contributions.
