Recently, Booz Allen Hamilton and Government Executive Media Group’s Defense One convened a nationwide series of town hall events that firm leaders in our Defense & Intelligence Group and Strategic Innovation Group participated in. We were joined by government officials from across the defense and national security markets in thought-provoking discussions on smarter, better, faster mission success.
The Smart Command Town Hall Series served to advance the idea of enterprise integration as a sensible solution to put interoperable technologies across the enterprise into the hands of warfighters more rapidly and efficiently. At each Town Hall, the focus centered on talking about not doing more with less but rather how do we do better with what we already have.
The same ideas that drew enthusiasm throughout the town hall series are echoed in a new editorial white paper on The Enterprise Integrator. As an intermediary working on behalf of government, the enterprise integrator’s chief virtue is one of neutrality. Straddling the line between big commercial integration vendors on the one hand, and mission-driven government managers on the other, the integrator can serve as an essential partner to guide the process without being beholden to any one specific agenda.
Watch some of the highlights from across the entire series.
