Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) is proud to be a Bronze-level sponsor of the 2015 Department of Defense Warrior Games, held June 19 – 28 in Quantico, VA. Approximately 200 wounded athletes representing teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, U.S. Special Operations Command and British Armed Forces will compete.
Eight different sporting events are scheduled for the 2015 Games – Archery, Cycling, Track, Field, Shooting, Swimming, Sitting Volleyball, and Wheelchair Basketball. There will also be athletes competing in a Wheelchair Rugby exhibition event. Booz Allen volunteers will be serving throughout the event, assisting with a wide range of activities directly supporting the operations of the Games.

Booz Allen Senior Associate Ray Nason, who also works with OSD/Warrior Care and is serving as a volunteer at this year’s games, stated, “As a military veteran, Booz Allen’s long history of supporting wounded warriors and the US military was one of the things that attracted me to the firm. I appreciate the chance to give back to servicemembers and their families but I find that I get more out of volunteering than I give; attending the Warrior Games is a special chance to be inspired by men and women with indomitable spirit.”
Adaptive sports and athletic reconditioning activities play a fundamental role in the recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration of our service members.
