Last week I wrote about Booz Allen Hamilton's commitment to women in technology through the upcoming Women’s Edition of Startup Weekend DC on October 3-5. I am excited to announce that Booz Allen is hosting a lunch panel this Saturday, October 4 as part of the weekend’s program.
The panel, “From Startup to Corporation: Leading Strategic Innovation at Scale,” aims to provide the startup teams with insights and strategies on overcoming the challenges of scaling a venture at every stage-- startup, mid-growth, and large company-- and remain innovative.
We have an impressive panel of leaders in technology and entrepreneurship lined up to tackle this topic, including Karen Dahut, executive vice president of Booz Allen’s Strategic Innovation Group. Other distinguished thought leaders on the panel include:
- David Guttman, chief executive officer at CityScan
- Ann Marie Isleib, regional vice president platform at Salesforce.com
- Susan Tynan, founder and chief executive officer at Framebridge, Inc.
We are delighted that Allyson Burns, senior vice president at the Case Foundation and Revolution LLC, will moderate the discussion.
One theme the panel will explore is the role strategic partnerships play in driving innovation. From our experience at Booz Allen, they represent not only a business imperative but also a critical element of the global innovation ecosystem in which we take part to solve our client’s most challenging, global-scale problems. That is why Booz Allen is proud to partner with leading technology companies delivering innovative solutions at scale, such as Salesforce.com, startup incubators vitalizing entrepreneurs and their ideas, such as 1776, and disruptive startups that have the agility to address emerging market needs. These collaborations match the best of our capabilities with our partner’s products and services to generate creative solutions—and fast.
