Andy Linn is a product development leader, focused on the delivery of cyber solutions across federal and commercial clients. In this role, he is responsible for the development and delivery of next-generation service offerings that integrate Booz Allen’s leading cyber, engineering, systems development (e.g., reverse engineering), and data science capabilities into commercially available products.
He leads the development, sale, deployment, and growth of Booz Allen’s security, context-aware safety, and productivity-enhancing suite of products, such as Booz Allen’s District Defend™ security platform and District Detect.
Andy regularly engages with clients across the defense and intelligence community and commercial markets to understand their current environments, assess the threat landscape, determine their risk postures, and deliver tailored and commercially-based solutions that address their business and mission requirements.
Previously, Andy was a senior leader in Booz Allen’s engineering business, where he drove efforts across a variety of large programs, including engineering fabrication and technology operations support, strategic servicing sources, and rapid response to multiple science and technology offices across the government. He was responsible for building a number of sensors and platforms that are in use worldwide.
One of Andy’s favorite projects at Booz Allen has been leading a team of scientists and engineers to develop analytic tools for the intelligence community leveraging a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving. Andy has won the Booz Allen Excellence Award three times and was a finalist for innovation in 2018.
Prior to joining the firm, Andy worked for Sapient Corporation as a commercial consultant helping Fortune 500 companies with IT portfolio management and systems architecture, and before that, General Dynamics and Global InfoTek, Inc. He has published more than two dozen conference and journal technical articles in his career and holds a patent for a visible light communication system.
Andy holds a B.S. in computer science from Elon University and an M.S. in system engineering from George Washington University.
