Luke Lackrone has been building software solutions and leading teams—from embedded systems to large enterprise platforms—for defense, intelligence, civil, and commercial clients for more than 10 years. As the lead for Booz Allen’s agile coaching discipline, Luke and his teams help adopt and mature agile practice across our delivery portfolio and client community. Luke also serves as a delivery leader for the USAspending.gov project with the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Previously, he was a software developer and leader at General Dynamics Mission Systems. He led a team of more than 40 engineers that built software-defined radios, adapting commercial mobile technology for military voice and data communications.
Luke holds numerous certifications in modern management, agile practices, coaching, and facilitation. He is an author for the ICAgile Agile Coaching certification track and a recognized public speaker and thought leader for agile delivery. He is also a coauthor of Booz Allen's Agile Playbook.
Luke holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and an M.Eng. in systems engineering from Arizona State University.
